Tons held title hopefuls Bowers to a point at the Len Salmon Stadium.

Rob Whitnell was denied by a superb save from Ryan Karrer before Tom Hine lobbed over and the visitors took the lead when Eamon Payne fired home from a free-kick.

But Payne was then penalised for a foul on Lewis Manor and Whitnell converted the spot-kick to level.

Whitnetll hit the crossbar in the second half and, along with Jamie Salmon, was denied by Karrer.
